Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has refuted widespread speculation that he has reunited with his former wife, Annie Idibia.
The rumours emerged after an old video resurfaced on social media, showing the former couple enjoying a night out together. The clip quickly went viral, prompting claims that they had rekindled their relationship.
Responding to the speculation, 2Baba took to his Instagram Stories to clarify that the footage was recorded long before their separation and should not be interpreted as proof of a reconciliation.
His statement followed a similar clarification from Annie, who also explained that the circulating videos predated the end of their marriage and did not reflect their current relationship.
2Baba and Annie, who share two daughters, ended their marriage in January 2025 after more than 20 years together.
Since the split, the singer has remarried, tying the knot with politician Natasha Osaworu.
With both former spouses publicly addressing the issue, they have dismissed reports of a reunion, maintaining that the viral footage is simply an old memory rather than evidence of a renewed relationship.
