The eleventh season of Big Brother Naija officially got underway on Sunday night, ushering 24 housemates into the famous Biggie’s house for a 72-day contest with a record ₦160 million grand prize at stake.
Popular media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returned as host to launch the highly anticipated reality show, introducing the new contestants to viewers across the country.
The housemates unveiled during the premiere are Tram, Temi Nkem, Martins, Abi, Chimsom Chuka, Keivo, Mercedes, Kamsi, Sultex, Aikou, Flora, Bells, Gerard, Oyin, Sheba, Araga, Ricky, Nomy, Barry, Neche, Yusuf, Goddessa, Bluethopia and Cassi.
From the opening night, several contestants declared that their primary focus is winning the competition, stressing that they are entering the house to compete for the grand prize rather than pursue romantic relationships.
This year’s edition, themed “Show Ya Sef,” promises intense competition, entertainment and unexpected twists as the housemates vie for the coveted title and the ₦160 million prize package over the next 72 days.
